Innovasic Semiconductor has also developed Fido (flexible input, deterministic output), an Ethernet and CAN bus Real Time Communications controller with extended life availability. This, coupled with an advanced architecture based on the 68000 architecture and instruction set, provides our customers with competitive product advantages as well as a reliable long-term source of supply. Innovasic has also created a line of Industrial Ethernet modules and reference designs for embedded control and communication applications based on the fido1100 communications controller. These embedded solutions are designed to meet the needs of some of the most demanding applications. You can take advantage of the fido1100 deterministic real-time response, fail-safe operation and programmable I/O, utilizing these reference designs and modules to do rapid prototyping and performance evaluation. The small footprint printed circuit board modules are ideal for direct integration into low-volume production of customer’s products. For higher-volume applications, the reference design includes everything needed to embed the solution directly into your product.
